Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Dinner

Sunday February 14, 2016

Ex-Kansas City resident, Dr. Dwight Stanford, moved to Italy a few years ago.  And how.  He learned the language, he bought land in Marche, he started a B&B, planted a vineyard and started a winery. And makes his own olive oil on the side. And once again, he’s bringing some more of his award winning wines back to us at Oak 63. (You might remember  our dinner last year. Go to to refresh your memory.)  Join us for a dinner matching some of his great wines with some of JB’s great cooking.  Complete details to come next week.  We know there will be a peccorino, a petit verdot and a late harvest dessert wine at this point.  And we expect to fill out with another of his huge French varietal reds plus we are adding a house prosecco to start.  Tentative menu includes smoked trout, lobster pasta, duck with blood orange, fennel gratin, lamb stuffed with basil and hazelnut cake with hazelnut foo’s. The date is Tuesday, February 18.  The price is $100 per person.  This will sell out and seating is limited.  Complete menu and wine list to come next week but if you can’t wait, call us at 816-569-6310
