Ciao, everyone. On Tuesday, September 16, we’re putting on a special evening featuring the great Piemontese wines of the legendary Vietti family paired with wonderful dishes from Chef JB, Tante Bette and the whole Oak 63 team. We’re especially honored to have in attendance direct from Barolo, Elana Currado of the Vietti family. On hand to discuss the wines will be Matthew Cornett of A.Bommarito Wines, a young man you’ll find to be wise beyond his years in his knowledge of the wines of the world and in his ability to share that knowledge with you. We start with appetizers from an overflowing table paired with free flowing Prosecco. Then we proceed to a lineup of Piemontese offerings from the great Vietti list. If you haven’t had these spectacular wines before, prepare to be astounded. If you have, you know what to expect. Pure expressions of the Piedmont terroir that are especially great with food. Bottles will be offered for sale if you want to take samples of this great region home with you.
